I have been really enjoying sharing my easy recipes with you so here’s another no-fuss, easy peasy four-ingredient strawberry cream spread recipe.
Let me tell you a secret. Well, I guess it won’t be anymore after this, haha! When I was in my pre-teen awkward stage, I secretly called myself “strawberry” and attached my childhood crush’s name to my “alter ego” name. So it was something like this “strawberry-_ _ _”. Well call it coincidence, because the secret 3-letter name was Don. Fast forward to present-day, my husband’s nickname is Don. No, these are two different people, just to be clear. But isn’t that something? (read: the happy side of being vegan)
I know, how in the world we got into that topic when I am supposed to share my recipe. Strawberries, what have you done to me lately? haha!
One of my pantry essentials is a big bag of raw cashews because it’s the golden “cream” for vegans. Anything you want to cream-erize, cashew is the answer. And as most of you know, I shop from Amazon because it’s way cheaper than buying from our local Whole Foods Store. Plus, if you are a prime member, Amazon ships free with no minimum purchase. Now as far as sugar goes, I try to keep it to a minimum, hence this recipe has just the right sweetness to it, it hits the spot to satisfy my “sweet cravings” during that time of the month. I have to say this because my husband has a higher sweet tooth tolerance. Meaning, I always complain with his green tea being way too sweet.
When I sent this recipe (alongside photo) to my sister, she didn’t have strawberries and maple syrup so I told her to use brown sugar and replace with any fruit she has at the moment. She made blueberries and it tasted good, according to her. So my point is, you can tweak as necessary. Have fun experimenting!
For the sweet-toothed. Dairy-free and easy-peasy. Who doesn’t love a good strawberry cream?
- 5-6 fresh strawberries
- 1 cup raw cashews
- 3/4 cup almond milk
- 6 tbsp maple syrup
In a blender, combine all ingredients until creamy. If thicker consistency is desired, add more cashews.
Pour in a dessert bowl or mason jar. Store in fridge.
Serve with bagel, top with fresh fruits of your choice like strawberries, blueberries, bananas. etc.
While this is a spread recipe, you can use it as a dip or filling too. Totally your call.

My husband always buys real maple syrup but I don’t use it. He might like this. I think it would be great with blueberry too.
