Vegan Snakeskin Fall Winter Shoes Trend

Cruelty-free fashion.

I’m a leopard print lover, especially with shoes but I’m the type who likes variety so I’m glad that another print that I adore is currently on trend, snakeskin! Of course, we are talking entirely faux, vegan and cruelty-free. This year, we are seeing more and more companies bringing chic shoe styles to satisfy the growing demographics of fashion-forward yet animal loving earthlings. (Read: are your shoes vegan?)

So I’ve heard and read this many times: why do you want to be reminded of a murdered animal by wearing its resemblance? My answer is: so what do you tell people that wear non-animal print vegan leather with texture similar to cowhide, or even those who wear faux fur? Truth of the matter is, becoming vegan does not completely change your taste but rather your preference. We live in a world where options exist. I am a fashionable earthling who care about the animals that’s why I choose to wear faux, fake, vegan. My fashion sense has not changed, my options did. (Read: vegan sneakers). Veganism is not about perfection but our sincerest desire not to inflict harm and cruelty to our co-earthlings. Be kind to every kind, as the adage goes.

My first favorite are this pair of ankle booties from Abound. This brand is available at Nordstrom/Nordstrom Rack/Hautelook. When I sent a photo of these shoes to my mom, she said these looked cool. The blurple shade juxtaposed with snakeskin makes this pair truly unique. I was kidding my mom, it’s easy to find me in the crowd: just look for the girl with blue-purple shoes. Now if you know me, my work wardrobe is mostly black so adding a pop of color like this instantly elevates my otherwise boring day to day outfit. I own several shoes from Abound, from block heels to booties, they are all good quality and comfortable to wear.

The crossbody is from JW PEI, a vegan brand which is now sold at Petit Vour (watch my review here). When I discovered this brand early this year, my orders shipped straight from China. I remember their pricing structure back then was affordable but now that they have become quite popular among vegans, I noticed that they jacked up their prices quite a bit.

Another eye candy is this pair of boots from Naturalizer, which is a mainstream brand that offers faux leather options. Again, with my monochromatic black outfit, it’s a statement pair of shoes. When it comes to fashion, I let my bag or shoes do the talking. Most of the time.

The backpack is from JW PEI, I feel like this is the perfect bag to wear together with these booties. I have a review of this bag on my channel, here’s the link in case you want to see it in action.

Finally, these mules which you may have spotted from my previous post (read: styling my mushroom leather bag). They’re from Abound, I told you I like this brand so much. Price point is decent, same with the quality.

What fall trend are you loving right now?
