Your quick naughty fix. In a ball.
I was hangry and naughty when I made these nutty balls. Naughty in a sense that I have no plans of sharing these with anyone, haha. But really, I made a batch for me to nibble for breakfast or snacks when I’m at home craving for something to fill me in.

These naughty nutty balls are easy to make. I’m actually planning on giving these as my holiday treats for my co-workers. Packed in a cute bag or jar, I may even sell them in case I decide to participate in a food fair come Christmas time.
No-bake. Yes. I know baking is quite intimidating for the kitchen noob or if you’re a new vegan, you want everything easy. And fancy, because that’s how you want to roll.
The stars for these yummy nutty balls are pretty basic, as with the rest of my recipes. And even if you’re not vegan, I am more than certain that most of you have these ingredients lurking in your pantry. I am talking about muesli, walnuts, almonds, almond butter, maple syrup. The fancy additions a.k.a optional are shredded coconut, poppy seeds, sesame seeds and valencia orange peel.

Skills required: Knowledge in forming and rolling a ball. Dancing while rolling is preferred, haha. But really you guys, have fun! Amidst the negativity that surrounds us, we should enjoy ourselves whilst preparing food. You know why? when negative energy consumes you, your food will taste bad. Bland is another thing. So even if you’re the only vegan in your family (read: how to handle non-vegan family), learn to put your heart (and soul) to every food that you’re making.
Now going back to this recipe, almond butter and one ripe banana are your binders in these naughty nutty balls. The poppy seeds, sesame seeds and valencia orange peels are your individual flavors. Sprinkle shredded coconut as the final touch or just when you’re ready to feed your tribe.

Easy to make and no-bake, these protein-packed naughty nutty balls are great for snacks or breakfast. Your call.

Sounds delish especially for a nut lover!
It’s filling too. I can’t finish a big ball
My brother and SIL have completely cut all sugars out of their diet. I wonder if the maple syrup would work for them especially because we only buy pure maple syrup. Everyone will be over for Thanksgiving and it would be nice to serve a dessert they can eat.
I love nuts so these sound yummy to me!
Yay!
Those sound pretty darn good! And since it’s mixed with other things you wouldn’t even notice if the banana mush turns brown.
Hehe- “put in fridge for 20 minutes or overnight if attempting to eat as breakfast”
My own instructions should probably read, “if ANY hope of attempting to eat as breakfast, place in very BACK of fridge. Yes, back of fridge. The way waaaaaaay back of the fridge.”
You must have more self-discipline than anyone living in this house. lol
Haha! This made me laugh so hard!
I’ve seen so many recipes like these– no bake balls. I really want to try them for afternoon snacks!

My mom used to make something similar! I haven’t had them in years but this holiday season would be a good chance to get into it!
