First, can we stop for a second and admire the new layout, brought to you by the latest editing tool in WordPress, Gutenberg! This is something I’ve been longing to do in the past but being html-challenged that I am, I can’t seem to implement hence I run the risk of sabotaging my own blog, haha! There’s a bit of a learning curve but it isn’t that difficult to follow through.
Second, where have I been? as some of you asked. Apologies for the MIA stance but your mama has been under stress lately, both personal and work related. But I’m getting by day to day, I just needed to breathe for a moment and get hold of more important stuff that matters to me.
As ode to my “back to blogging” repertoire, I thought of revisiting one of the things that bring pure smile to moi, what else but a handbag! I don’t think you’ve seen this beautiful vegan luxury bag yet on my social media so to say that I am ecstatic to share this to you today is quite an understatement (read is vegan leather good or bad). Ladies and gents, say aloha to Stella McCartney.
I filmed an accompanying video for this post so you can see this handbag in all its glory. Aptly named Falabella Tote (large), I purchased this bag from therealreal, an online shop that sells authentic pre-loved luxury items. Stella McCartney’s advocacy on cruelty-fashion is the very reason I bought this. The only thing that hesitated me from buying it in the past is the tag price, c’mon it’s over $1000. Wait, what? I don’t mean to sound like a hypocrite, you know, especially coming from my hideous past of supporting luxury non-vegan bags (read my journey here) but without having to sound like holier than thou, I have changed my ways moving forward.
Therealreal has year-round 20% off promotion but if luck stalks you, you can actually snag sale on sale or 30% off, just like this handbag which I got for a little over $400, in really great condition (referral, get $25 off with this link)

Love the Stella bag! She has a couple of wallets that I have been wanting for a while!
Now that you’ve mentioned her wallets, those I want too
Second hand is truly the way to go when you’re dealing with serious designer goods. Great score!
True! This is a score indeed
It’s wonderful that this pretty bag came in great condition. I could never put out $1000 for a purse but $400 is in my price range.
I love the chain detail on this bag!
