If you’re into organic beauty, you are probably aware of ILIA, a brand hinged on creating the “purest products possible”. With its sleek packaging and certified organic botanical ingredients, it has earned quite a cult following. If you’re thinking of a nice gift to your eco-conscious friend or if you’re like me who’s expanding to include more organic beauty to your stash, the following eye candies are worth checking out!

Currently, the brand is sold online, Net-a-Porter, and some at Sephora. While lip products remain the brand’s bread and butter, they do carry eye makeups (mascara, eye liner, shadow stick), illuminator stick, foundation, concealer, and even brushes! I have three items to show you today, take a look!
The Perfecting Brush ($44) is ideally used to apply foundation but I like it more as buffing brush. The bristles are made from high grade synthetic Taklon fibers that feel incredibly soft against the skin. The size is quite on the small side which makes it ideal for travel and/or quick retouch. The bristles are densely packed which allows you to apply foundation seamlessly.
The Defining Lip Brush ($28) is also a keeper but you know what, I don’t use it on the lips but rather, as a smudge brush whenever I do smoky eye looks. The bristles are soft and the pointed tip makes it easy to apply eyeshadow along the lash line. Don’t conform, it’s fun to think outside the box.
Neutral loving gals, you’re in for a big surprise because while this lip gloss shade (Gypsy, $24) looks dark from the tube (described as oxblood from the website), it does come out as a great everyday neutral shade! Worn alone, it leans more towards brown orange to me, a very subtle and completely wearable shade I must say!

I've used Ilia lip products for a few years. I love the way their lipsticks feel on my lips. I don't know if I was aware that they've expanded so much.
Wow, the lipgloss is so much lighter than the tube. I've been meaning to try this brand. I do love the look of that little lip brush that you use for shadow!
I loooove ILIA and their glosses are my fave! I have a few different shades and would happily grow my collection 😉
I am testing out their finishing powder and brush. Spoiler: I'm impressed.
