Viseart fans have one more reason to splurge on another palette that’s worth all the hype. I’m not a blush junkie but the Blusher Palette 01 Plum Bronze easily earned a prime spot in my makeup must-haves for fall/ winter. Are the shades really inviting? come, scroll down and see for yourself.

Retailing for $80 (this seems to be the magic number for Viseart as majority of their products are priced the same), it seems a tad reasonable considering that you’re getting big portions (3 blusher, 3 bronzer, all matte) at 0.14 oz each or combined 3.96 grams. If you rarely hit pan on standalone packaging, then having a smorgasbord of eye candies resonates pragmatism. Too much analysis for makeup, duh! But then again, if you are forking out $80 for makeup, it needs to be convincing. There are 3 variants (the other two being Rose/Coral and Orange/Violet) but I settled for 01 Plum Bronze because the shades are more wearable.

In case you’re new to Viseart, you will notice its frill-free packaging. Clear and straightforward: “here’s the palette and these are the shades”. It makes sense because before the brand became mainstream, they primarily catered to makeup artists who need instant access to color. I actually like it that way so hopefully Viseart won’t succumb to millennials’ need for fancy things. Okay not all but it’s becoming a pattern so I just shake my head in silence. Anyways, these are really pigmented so go easy with the packing. Yes, until we get the clown scare under control! But kidding aside, dip, tap and tap, blend and blend. Build as necessary but start light okay! 01 Plum Bronze has 3 blushers (light pink, pink mauve, plum) and 3 bronzers (light to dark) which are good for contouring or adding warmth to the face.

In the following photos, I applied pink mauve and the lightest bronzer carefully, making sure I don’t go overboard for a daytime office look.
