Anastasia Master Palette by Mario | Review, Photos, FOTD

In collaboration with celebrity MUA Mario Dedivanovic, this 12-pan makeup palette by Anastasia is a neutral lovers’ delight; the predominantly warm hues render quintessential fall vibe, something I gravitate to this time of the year. Scroll down for more photos, swatches and details.

Anastasia Master Palette by Mario

Reasonably priced at $45, this Master Palette by Mario is another must-have from Anastasia Beverly Hills (the Modern Renaissance is another one, reviewed here). It features 12 colors ranging from light brown, bronze, brick orange, olive green to midnight blue. There are three mattes and 12 shimmers. The formula is consistently soft with impeccable pigmentation. It kicks a little powder but if you’re a makeup junkie, then you know that tapping your brush before application isn’t a major concern. There is no fallout or chunks of glitter migrating to your face. All in all, it’s a well thought out palette worth your buck!

It is packaged in a frill-free cardboard rectangular case with decent-sized mirror and nice-to-have dual-ended eye brush (crease and blending). As mentioned, the shades are mostly warm so if you’re into that spectrum, you will find this palette useful if not life-changing… okay, that sounds a tad OA! But you get what I mean lady! Applied under eye primer, the shades survive my standard eight-hour road test with very minimal fading (oily lids for reference).

Anastasia Master Palette by Mario Review Swatch

(Swatched without primer)

Hollywood: light gold shimmer

NYC: chocolate brown shimmer

Kim: tan shimmer

Muse: rose gold shimmer

Marina: champagne shimmer

Claudia: blackened blue shimmer

Lula: brown matte

Isabel: brick orange matte

Violeta: dark brown matte

5th Ave: gold shimmer/metallic

Bronx: olive shimmer

Paris: gilded brown shimmer

Here’s what I came up with using some shades from the palette. Marina on lids, Muse on crease, Isabel on crease as transition, 5th Ave on inner eye corner, Hollywood on brow bone. Lula to fill in eyebrows. NYC smudged on lower lash line.

This is an absolutely stunning palette. Your swatches really get across the pigmentation. If I weren't drowning in about 15 palettes that I still haven't even opened, I would consider this one coz it's so darn pretty! enjoy it

I have this on the way to me now. I don't normally like warm palettes but there are a few shades that I really wanted. I hope I love it as much as I love the new ABH singles I bought.

Love the look you created! I purchased this with ULTA points, buttt I'm a little underwhelmed by just looking at it. I'm hoping once I actually use it, I'll love it more!
