Here’s a typical Sunday afternoon scenario at TFZ (thefabzilla) cave: the dreaded 4pm, my least favorite time of the day! you know why? because Monday is few hours away, work work work! So madam decides to take it slow and pamper herself, beginning with hair mask, followed by face mask. Inhale, exhale. 1.5 hrs of bliss perfection.

Home spa, it’s my mini-retreat to rejuvenate and relax; hence I surround myself with all sorts of high quality spa-like products to support my “me-time”. Lather is one of them because their products are naturally-sourced, cruelty-free, paraben and sulfate-free and most of all, decently priced. I have tried so many from the brand and I don’t mind adding more, just like this aromatic set called Lavender Retreat!

This duo ($36) features body creme and body scrub with lavender as the key ingredient. Lavender as you know has calming properties, even sleep-inducing to some. Lather’s body scrub is the best one out there, that’s quite a statement considering that I have tried tons of exfoliants. What makes theirs different is that it foams once it comes in contact with water. It has the right grittiness that helps with exfoliation without “skinning” you. This particular variant uses olive, fig and grape seed extracts to slough off dead skin cells: good for the skin and environment!

The whipped body creme has a light whiff of lavender, again a nice olfactory treat to someone who maybe experiencing stress or nervous tension. It feels light on the skin and hydrates like a boss.

In case you don’t know, Lather operates spas in select states. I have visited their Honolulu branch (I will be visiting it soon!). If you’re searching for high quality spa products without breaking the bank, I highly recommend that you try their products.

Okay time for me to end this post and enjoy my home spa (I literally have face and hair mask on as I write this, and yes it’s the dreaded Sunday afternoon!). Ciao.
