Happy 1st day of August! With my birthday month over, I challenged myself to tighten the belt and get back to the swing of things using and consuming my stash, unless it is absolutely necessary to break this vow, haha! But seriously, I was impressed with my recent pile of empties. Note that this is a cumulative year-to-date which include products that I revisited and/or reviewed months back. And yes, all but one are full-sized, much to my delight!

Murad Intensive-C Radiance Peel, Strivectin Oxygen Infusuin Smoothing Mask, Elizather Arden Superstart, PurErb, Fresh Rose Mask, NARS Creamy Concealer, Lather Coconut Body Wash, Lather Coconut Body Souffle, Lather Coconut Body Scrub, Lather Ultra Mild Face Wash, The Body Shop, Olaplex, Proganix Volume, ProfielPro, Madam CJ Walker

Let’s start from the hair-down. Part of Madam CJ Walker’s Dream Come True Collection, Wonderful Pre-Wash Protein Treatment (6 oz, $32, full review here) is packed with protein which intensifies hair strands and prevents breakage.

No, I do not have a haircare line but who knows in the future, right? but you can have your own customized shampoo and conditioner via ProfilePro (full review here). It all starts with a survey so the right formula can be made for your hair type.

Proganix Volume features soy and caffeine which helps achieve volume for limp hair (full review here).

Olaplex Hair Perfector No.3 was recommended to me by my hairstylist since I frequently color my hair. It helps preserve color as well as protect against chemical damage. I regularly buy it from the salon.

I love The Body Shop Shower Gel and body scrub, hence the repeat appearance in my empties post. I am not ashamed to admit that I hoard an awful lot whenever they run 3+3 sale year-round! Satsuma is one of my favorites because it makes bath time so refreshing. The body scrubs have the right amount of grit which help exfoliate dead skin cells.

Another favorite is from Lather, and every item that I have so far tried is a major win! If you adore coconut, you need to try the body wash, body soufflé and body scrub. They are the bomb, for real!

Skincare-wise, Murad Intensive- C Radiance Peel (full review here) is one of my holy grails in the mask department. It does brighten and make the face feel ever so smooth! Another must-have mask is StriVectin Oxygen Infusion Smoothing Mask (review here). It forms a foam (which tickles the face) but once it settles, it does make my face feel taut and radiant. The Fresh Rose Face Mask (deluxe-size) was part of Sephora’s birthday freebie. It feels mild and relaxing so I am considering to purchase it! Elizabeth Arden Superstart Skin Renewal Booster is another must-try moisturizer. It’s one of the products I rotate constantly because it provides hydration, alongside other serums and moisturizers I use nightly (full review here). PurErb Vitality Cleansing Oil (featured here) is one of my favorite makeup remover because it erases all gunk and residue effortlessly. Finally, the only makeup I used up: NARS Radiant Creamy Concealer. I have repurchased and featured it on the blog countless times so you know I am going to buy it again without further explanation.
