With so many beauty or lifestyle subscription boxes floating around that are either bleh or “I’ve-seen-it-many-times-over”, I am immensely happy to have discovered Indigo Beaux, the newest on the block whose mission is to fill our stash with high quality and hard-to-find beauty, skincare and relaxation products sourced from around the globe, valued over $100. For a flat fee, shipping included within the US ($65.99/month, $61.99/month if you sign up for 6 months, $59.99/month if you sign up for 12 months), you will receive 4-5 full-sized products that are mostly natural and cruelty-free. Currently, the box is not customizable so whatever I receive is similar to yours. 2% of Indigo Beaux’s profit is donated to RAINN (Rape, Abuse and Incest National Network), an organization that helps victims and educate the nation on sexual violence. They also ship internationally for a corresponding rate with option to cancel anytime. Ready to see what’s inside July box? scroll down for the scoop!

Indigo Beax July Box Review

The box arrived in pristine condition, hefty and wrapped perfectly. Flip it open and you will be greeted with a smorgasbord of eye candies. Unleash your radiance, what a great way to remind ourselves. The theme for July is Be Bold. If you ask me, the products would better match with something like “Relax, Beauty”. I’ll show you why…

Let’s start with my number one favorite, the Herbal Pillow ($30). Infused with rose lavender and chamomile, this pillow is my new night time BFF. There are two ways you can use this pillow: warm for relaxation (headache, stress, colds/flu) or cool for body aches. I enjoy using it warm every night, after shower, just before I hit the sack. Instruction says to place it in microwave for 1 min and 30 secs but I find it too hot to my liking so I adjust it to 35 seconds. For relaxation, I place it behind my neck. For minor aches such as leg and shoulder, I find that it helps soothe. It has sleep-inducing aroma so if you are an insomniac, this may help you too!

I am new to It’s Skin, more with its serum named Formula 10 Serum Syn-ake ($30ml, $23). A topical anti-aging product, it uses a synthetic peptide that acts similar to a snake venom to help firm the skin, improve frown lines and wrinkles and keep skin supple. I haven’t really tried it long enough to share with you my full experience but I will definitely give you a more thorough evaluation sometime in the future.

A woman can never have too many lipsticks. Gold Label Lipstick Private Jet ($14) is a beautiful pink shade that flatters any skin tone. It’s sheen, moderately pigmented and comfortable to wear.

ABHA Candle Forever  Blossom ($16, 3 oz). This candle smells like peony. It sets the mood for a weekend home spa.

I am a sucker for hand creams so an addition of one is always a breath of fresh air. Beekman 1802 Hand Cream Fresh Cream ($22, 3.4 oz) has shea butter which protects, hydrates and soothes the skin. It also has pure goat milk for extra moisturization. The wooden box that comes with it is totally reusable (I foresee a shabby chic lipstick case project soon!).

Overall, the product inclusions for July wowed me (total value $105).  I do hope that they will be able to sustain the momentum of curating exciting products in the next months. And please, no black eyeliner, haha! Care to see what’s in store for August? the featured product is Becca Shimmering Skin Perfecter!
