Yes it’s a glowing review for a glow kit aptly named That Glow. How glowing can you get? Like this glowy you think? The newly-released Anastasia palette swept me off my feet and I think you will be too! Scroll further for complete details and swatches.
Sold in two variants (That Glow and Sun Dipped), the Anastasia Glow Kit retails for $40; each palette features four stunning highlighters in varying shades which can be used to illuminate your face, décolletage or eyes. For my makeup above and below, I wore Sunburst (yellow gold) interspersed with Golden Bronze (metallic bronze) on cheekbones blended out to the temple and lightly dusted on forehead, Bubbly (champagne rose) on eyes, nose bridge and cupid’s bow, and Dripping in Gold (bronze gold) on decolletage for an exquisite melange of luminosity. Altogether, I think That Glow palette compliments my newly-tanned complexion which is timely for the summer!

The packaging isn’t elaborate at the very least. It is housed in a sturdy cardboard type with magnetic closure. It has no mirror but the size and quality of the shades justify the price. I considered purchasing Becca x Jacklyn Hill Champagne Palette when I was at Sephora the other week but upon close inspection, I decided to go with this kit instead. Its creamy texture was consistent whether swatched or applied.
So yes, I’ll avoid the long and winding chit chat today and go straight to the point, you need this Glow Kit! Given the versatility of both palettes, I think you can rock each without hesitation. Just go easy with the application especially if you are concerned with obvious and open pores or aging skin. Dust lightly on the high points of your face for an instant lift! Trust me, highlighters know no age, mama!
