Orange is another challenging hue to wear, makeup-wise. While it’s certainly a fall color, throw in some bronze and illumination, it stunningly translates to a summer must-rock. For this week’s look, I played around Viseart’s Dark Matte Eyeshadow Palette (review here) and Theory Minx Palette (review here). For fresh and illuminated face, I used Giorgio Armani Luminessence CC Cream and Guerlain Meteorites Compact (review here), complimented with Charlotte Tilbury Filmstar Bronze & Glow (review here). I finished the entire look with two coats of Pur Fully Charged Mascara (review here), lined my waterline with Lancome Drama Liqui Pencil Embrase (full collection here) and Clinique Long Last Lipstick Bamboo Pink (semi-frost mauve pink).

For reference, I used three shades from Viseart Dark Matte Palette (light orange on lids, dark orange on crease, dark green smudged on outer one third of upper lash line) and four shades from Viseart Theory Minx Palette (bronze copper on crease, maroon smudged on lower lash line mixed with bronze copper, champagne on inner corner and matte flesh on brow arch).
Favorite then, still a staple now. Charlotte Tilbury Filmstar is the perfect contour and highlight palette, well second to Tom Ford Soleil Compact (review here). If you notice, I extended the highlighting a little bit down to my cheeks for that ethereal summer glow. I got the technique from my favorite beauty vlogger Jaclyn Hill (I can’t wait to get my hands on her eponymous highlighting palette!). I could’ve amped this look with faux lashes but girl, mama’s going grocery-shopping at Target so let’s keep it subdued. Pushing cart but highlight’s on point, who am I kidding, haha!
