The past month wasn’t really a good one to me for a couple of reasons but moi can’t whine over spilled milk so I’m keeping my hopes high for May! Anyways, I’m excited to share with you some products I willfully consumed and enjoyed last April!

I wasn’t kidding when I said that I did a massive The Body Shop haul during last year’s Black Friday sale. I am a fan of their body scrubs that’s why you always see tubs upon jars upon bottles in almost all of my empties post. Last month alone, I finished 3 body scrubs, satsuma, mango, and shea. All these have the right grittiness needed for exfoliation, superb hydrating properties and delectable scent.
When I visited the LATHER spa at The Modern Honolulu last month, I got to take home some deluxe-size goodies. The coconut creme body wash was an instant favorite so I am going to repurchase this as soon as I finish the full-size bottle which I received from the mail. These travel-size shampoo and conditioner from Pacifica are another must-haves especially for a quick weekend getaway. I like how gentle they are on the hair, and most of all, they are devoid of annoyingly overwhelming fragrance.
I go through hoards of makeup wipes pretty frequent. Neutrogena and Pacifica are some of my staples because they are non-irritating on the skin. Repurchase, of course! Pixi Glow Mud Cleanser is wonderful, most especially if you have acne-prone or combination skin. Made with 5% glycolic a cid, it is one of the gentlest exfoliant I have tried. I will consider buying it when I finish the other products from my extensive line up.
Retinol is one of my long-time buddy in the realm of skincare. Strivectin is a lightweight moisturizer with pore-minimizing and anti-aging components. I already have a backup of this product so you can tell that it really is one of my amazing discoveries from last year. I rarely finish perfume, just because I have a lot. Dolce and Gabbana Light Blue is an exception because I have been loving this fragrance since it first came out in early 2000. It reminds me of my not-so-distant youth (haha!) including memories of travels and treasured friendships. I have repurchased this multiple times so once I’m down with the jumbo bottle I am currently consuming, alongside other fragrances I have in rotation, you bet I am buying it again.
It’s your turn. Did you finish anything last month? enable me!
