I’ve said this before: barring medical issues, anyone can be a mother but not everyone is fit to be one. That’s why I salute all mothers who painstakingly support their children all through stages in life, come hell or high water. So for all the mothers in your life, make that one day special to her, whether spending some quiet time or painting the town red, what matters most is your presence. Now before this post becomes telenovela, let me share with you a few gift ideas your mom will surely treasure!

LATHER is a brand you need to introduce to your mom, if you haven’t yet. All their products are sourced organically and are cruelty-free. There is nothing from the line I didn’t like, let alone love because everything that I’ve used, dipped my hands into, applied, and sniffed, swept me off my feet! I have reviewed some here and if you happen to have LATHER spa near you, it’s the nicest treat for you and your mom (read my experience here). If your mom is into fragrant soaps, this handmade set is a must-buy for her! Retailing for $23, this soap trio features oatmeal lavender, rose tangerine lavender, lavender lime soap and wood soap dish. They all smell exhilaratingly good! Throw in some handmade gemstone bracelets and you just wrapped the most wonderful present for mama!
If you are following my skincare journey on Instagram, you may have seen bits and pieces of my experience with Tria Eye Wrinkle Correcting Laser. I will do a formal review after my 8-week road test but let me tell you, at 3rd week of use, I did see subtle changes around my eyes. For a limited time, Tria is offering 15% discount on their laser deluxe kit (use code thefabzilla), you can check the details here. Another skincare staple is Murad Invisiblur Perfecting Shield (review here). It’s a moisturizer, primer and sunscreen in one, everything your mom needs to look youthful and radiant!
For your designer-brand obsessed mom, I have but high praises for Tom Ford Soleil 2016 Contouring Compact (full review here). It’s a huge compact composed of matte blush, matte bronzer and highlighter. Used individually or swirled altogether, it creates the most beautiful melange of colors on the face. Classy and luxe, you need it yourself! Lipstick is a no-brainer gift but don’t just give any kind, go for luxury! Think Tom Ford Lip Color, Chantecaille Lip Chic, Burberry Full Kisses (recently reviewed here), and Dolce and Gabbana. All these were heavily reviewed on the blog, I love them so much, they’re worth every penny! When it comes to fragrance, go for the classics like Tom Ford Noir de Noir (dark and sexy with notes of vanilla, black rose, black truffle, patchouli, oud wood) or Bulgari Rose Essentielle (elegant and classy, rosy but not overpowering).
yes, it’s the thought that counts but gifts do count too… xo
I actually got my mom hooked on Murad skin care. Personally I could use a day at the spa though.
I love your picks! I'd be thrilled with any of them if I were a mom. And I like the JN bracelets that you got too
What fantastic Mother's Day picks! What mom wouldn't be thrilled to receive any of these?!!!!!
I love LATHER soaps, they smell so so good.
I love everything by LATHER.
I want the TF in my life!
I used to buy my mother fragrance for Mother's Day. She loved Dior J'dore.
You picked out some great gifts. I'd fall over if anyone in my family got me Tom Ford.
I would be golden if my husband got me ALL of these for Mother's Day, haha!
Ohh, this mama would love some TF for mothers day! LOL
It can be difficult to figure out exactly what to give for Mother's Day but you've highlighted some really great products!
My kids could slide me any one of these and I'd be happy!
The LATHER Soaps and the Bulgari perfume are things I'd definitely pick as my own gifts lol
Perfect picks. I love your photos!
mmm, those scented Lather soaps sound divine. One for me, one for her!
Theseare perfect gift ideas for moms! I have never tried Lather products but I have read great things about them.
My mom isn't into cosmetics much at all – but she would LOVE those bracelets!
I think those Lather soaps are definitely a great mother's day gift. I bought a set for my sisters and my mom for Xmas and each of them loved it.
