Murad belongs to my elite list of trusted brands as I have used most of their products which helped address specific skin issues I have so far experienced. From acne to sensitive to dry to combination to aging to dull skin, name it and most likely I have dealt with it. And yes, there’s that one standout Murad product I can vouch for in terms of efficacy!

My most pressing issue right now is wrinkle prevention. At 41, I vow to delay visible signs of aging with great skincare and healthy lifestyle. Murad Hydro-Dynamic Quenching Essence is a moisturizer with serum-like consistency, silky and weightless. It contains Mexican Blue Agave Extract which claims to retain moisture resulting to plump and youthful complexion, Glycolic Acid which gently exfoliates, and botanical mix of watermelon, apple and lentil which helps reduce dry patches. You can use it on its own but I like to layer it with retinol and moisturizer for maximum hydration.
Call me vain but in most nights, my face is a graceful hostess to “hydration party” (3-5 products), add facial masking three times a week and a monthly treatment I recently started (I’ll talk about it next time), you bet old hag ain’t in my vernac. I’m happy to add Murad Hydro-Dynamic Ultimate Moisture to my circle because even if it’s on the thick side, it does not feel heavy on my face. I also use it on my neck because Ms. Turkey Neck is not allowed to join the party. This particular moisturizer lists the following key ingredients: hyaluronic acid which retains water deep in the skin for long-lasting hydration, coconut extract for additional moisture retention, shea butter, avocado, sunflower and olive fruit oil to revive skin’s suppleness and youthful aura.
Murad Professional Eye Lift Firming Treatment is a professional-strength eye treatment which claims to lift and visibly reduce the appearance of wrinkles and fine lines. It comes with cotton pads which according to the instructions, need to be pressed lightly over the product and leave on for 15 minutes max. It also feels lightweight and while I love the idea behind the procedure, my ever so sensitive eyes reacted to it. I tried it twice in two separate occasions (day and night) and had me tear up immediately. Just a classic case of what works to some may not for me.
Have you tried anything from Murad?
Thanks for this read mate. Well, this is my first visit to your blog! But I admire the precious time and effort you put into it, especially into interesting articles you share here
I haven't tried an essence yet & I'm curious about the difference between an essence and a serum. Both Murad products sound like they'd be great for my skin too
I used to use a Murad moisturizer all the time, but it ahs been awhile since I tried anything from them.
I usually associate Murad with blemishes, but looks like they are so much more.
I have always wanted to try a Murad regimen. I have so many friends who love their products!
Murad is a great brand for anti-aging products–very effective.
I love Murad but haven't tried anything from the Professional range before. That eye treatment sounds great.
I'm loooving the look of the professional range!!
That eye life sounds amazing! My lids have been a little droopy lately.
These look like a great addition to their products. It's really too bad that the eye serum wasn't for you.
