Positioned for very dry skin, I received three products to test out: Ultra Hydrating Melting Cleanser, Ultra Hydrating Facial Mask, and Ultra Hydrating Overnight Eye Balm. In the interest of transparency, I don’t have dry skin but I can benefit from the anti-aging benefit of virgin coconut.
The Ultra Hydrating Melting Cleanser (Ulta exclusive, $9.99) has virgin coconut and moringa seed oils to help melt away makeup. So is it a makeup remover or a cleanser? I say both! It does warm up to your face as you apply and massage in circular motion. It does not lather but cleanse the face just as good.
Oryza Sativa (Rice) Bran Oil, Glycerin, Cocos Nucifera (Coconut) Oil, Helianthus Annuus (Sunflower) Seed Oil*, Olea Europaea (Olive) Fruit Oil, Sucrose Stearate, Moringa Oleifera Seed Oil, Water (Aqua), Tocopheryl Acetate, Morinda Citrifolia (Noni) Fruit, Musa Sapientum (Banana) Fruit Extract, Hibiscus Sabdariffa Flower Extract, Psidium Guajava Fruit Extract, Orchis Mascula Flower Extract, Aleurites Moluccana Seed Extract, Potassium Sorbate, Sodium Benzoate, Citric Acid, Phenoxyethanol, Fragrance (Parfum). *Certified Organic Ingredient
The Ultra Hydrating Facial Mask ($15.99) features virgin coconut and avocado oils for hydration. For the record, I have tons of facial masks and I do rotate ’em on a regular basis. After being out in the sun (beach day baby) a little long today, my face seriously got zapped out of moisture so I immediately reached out to this mask to revive my skin. I really liked how my face felt supple and hydrated after 15 minutes of me-time-slash-mask-time.
Water (Aqua), Glycerin, Aloe Barbadensis (Aloe) Leaf Juice, Bentonite, Hydrogenated Vegetable Glycerides, Cetearyl Alcohol, Cocos Nucifera (Coconut) Oil*, Ethylhexyl Palmitate, Coconut Alkanes, Olea Europaea (Olive) Fruit Oil, Persea Gratissima (Avocado) Oil, Galactoarabinan, Glyceryl Stearate, Polyglyceryl-10 Oleate, Titanium Dioxide, Helianthus Annuus (Sunflower) Seed Oil, Honey, Cocos Nucifera (Coconut) Water, Sodium Hyaluronate, Cocos Nucifera (Coconut) Fruit Juice, Aleurites Moluccana (Kukui) Seed Extract, Hibiscus Sabdariffa Flower Extract, Morinda Citrifolia (Noni) Fruit Extract, Musa Sapientum (Banana) Fruit Extract, Orchis Mascula Flower Extract, Psidium Guajava (Guava) Fruit Extract, Allantoin, Magnesium Aluminum Silicate, Glyceryl Caprylate, Ethylhexylglycerin, Xanthan Gum, Propanediol, Citric Acid, Phenoxyethanol, Fragrance (Parfum). *Certified Organic Ingredient
The Ultra Hydrating Overnight Eye Balm (Ulta exclusive, $15.99) has virgin coconut oil, shea butter and argan oil for intense nourishment of the eye area. I don’t have pronounced wrinkles and/or crow’s feet yet but that’s because I am very keen on skincare. This particular eye balm is a nice discovery because it does make my under eyes and surrounding area feel really smooth and for the price point, I am giving it double thumbs up.
Water (Aqua), Cocos Nucifera (Coconut) Oil, Caprylic/Capric Triglyceride, Cetearyl Alcohol, Glycerin, Sucrose Stearate, Glyceryl Stearate Citrate, Mica, Aloe Barbadensis (Aloe) Leaf Juice*, Xanthan Gum, Butyrospermum Parkii (Shea) Butter*, Tocopherol, Aleurites Moluccana (Kukui) Seed Extract, Helianthus Annuus (Sunflower) Seed Wax, Argania Spinosa (Argan) Kernel Oil, Musa Sapientum (Banana) Fruit Extract, Psidium Guajava (Guava) Fruit Extract, Hibiscus Sabdariffa Flower Extract, Orchis Mascula Flower Extract, Morinda Citrifolia (Noni) Fruit Extract, Potassium Hydroxide, Citric Acid, Sodium Benzoate, Potassium Sorbate, Phenoxyethanol, Fragrance (Parfum). *Certified Organic Ingredient
