Made with 5% glycolic acid and aloe vera, Pixi Glow Mud Cleanser ($18, 135ml/ 4/57 fl oz) is one of the gentlest exfoliant I have tried. There is no grit to it yet it has the ability to remove dead skin cells. The scent reminds me of sandalwood, it’s not overwhelming but needs to be mentioned if you are sensitive to scents and whatnot. I like how my skin feels post-washing, taut and radiant.

With aloe vera, ginseng and mineral-rich mud, Pixi Glow Mud Mask ($22, 30ml/ 1.01 fl oz) sounds like the perfect recipe to combat dull, congested and fatigued skin. 15 minutes facial = 15 minutes of uninterrupted bliss, like literally. If you know me, I do find time for little things like these so yeah, it’s safe to say that I do facial masking at least three times a week. This particular mask feels very refreshing on my face. It dries quite hard just like any mud mask but it’s not irritating to the skin, at least based from my experience.

  • When I was younger, I was a big fan of mud masks. Now my skin is so dry, I avoid it most of the time. But if I were looking for a mud mask, the Pixi mask that also contains 5% glycolic acid would definitely be a great choice

  • I haven't given these a go yet, but I love the packaging and they do sound promising!

  • I might have to try the mud mask. It sounds like just want I need for this winter weather we are having her in the southeast.

  • I can't use a mud mask often but when I do I find that my pores look really cleansed.

  • Ooh, the Mud Cleanser sounds pretty interesting. I don't typically think of mud being in a cleanser

  • I am OBSESSED with the Pixi Glow Tonic so I should definitely try out the Glow Mask and Cleanser! The mask in particularly sounds amazing.

  • I absolutely love mud masks, and would really like to try this cleanser and mask!

  • I tried the cleanser and it was a bit drying for my skin at the time (winter in arid high desert). Will try again in summer when my face is a sunscreen covered greeseball. Love love love the Pixi Glow Tonic, and I'm looking forward to trying their peel pads and sleep mask.

  • That cleanser sounds lovely! I don't do mud as much, now as I used to but they are nice for occasional deep pore cleansing and tightening.

  • I am dying to try the Glow Tonic but they're always sold out when I go to Target.
