Let’s count… hmmm, ‘quite impressive for the month of October because there are 10 products in total; plus, I hit pan. So before I cast spell on you, let’s revisit my lovely empties one last time…
It’s raining Murad, 3 products consumed to the last drop! Murad Time Release Acne Cleanser is one of my favorites since 2007 (yes even before moi gave birth to this blog). For someone with occasional breakouts even in adulthood, this cleanser has sustained-release salicylic acid which helps clear skin without over drying. It also contains amino and hyaluronic acid for hydration. Time and again, I have mentioned my proclivity towards Vitamin C in skincare; Murad Advanced Active Radiance Serum is another winner in my stash. I use it in combination with retinol for brighter, more supple and even skin tone. Facial mists like Murad Hydrating Toner and Evian are purse must-haves. I spritz my face with either one at mid-day, post-workout, or whenever my face yearns for rehydration. Arcona Triad Pads are pre-soaked round cotton pads with inviting cranberry fragrance. It’s my favorite toner to-date; in fact I have already repurchased it!
If there’s one item that has become a popular mainstay in my monthly empties post, it has to be The Body Shop Body Scrub. I buy all variants whenever I can, no shame! Almost everything that I have tried have the right grit-feel to them which is great for exfoliation. So there, two tubs down for October! Makeup wipes, in particular Cetaphil and Clean and Clear, are runner-ups. Why not, they’re effective in removing makeups, plus they’re pretty cheap I can hoard without guilt!
Am I dreaming or what? Do you spot the elusive pan? Guerlain as you know is one of my favorite luxury brands and this powder foundation (Lingerie de Peau Compact) is another staple in my day-to-day makeup routine. I love its mattifying and blurring effect. Got oily skin and obvious pores like me? this is worth every penny lady! Marc Jacobs Beauty Brow Wow Defining Longwear Eyebrow Pencil is kind of a bummer. While I like how natural my brow looks using this pencil, I can’t for the life of me believe that it’s gone after 10 or so uses. The retractable mechanism is all for a show because the entire product turned out to be really small in comparison to Hourglass or even Tom Ford.
It’s your turn. Did you finish anything recently?
