I know, another haircare line but I tell you what, I have been enjoying trying hair products lately. It’s a turf I don’t normally venture out so I’m up for challenge! I was recently introduced to Keranique shampoo and conditioner combo (on sale as of this writing, $50); is it serendipity? scroll down for the great reveal.
Keranique is specially formulated for women with thinning, damaged or lifeless hair. Just for reference, my hair has not crossed over to scarcity but I do have damaged (no thanks to frequent hair color), frizz and dry scalp. Keranique Scalp Stimulating Shampoo claims to revitalize hair and improve its resilience, volume, strength, structure and luster. Keranique Volumizing Conditioner on the other hand claims to thicken and volumize thin fine hair without weighing hair down.
Minty and very refreshing to the scalp, these were my initial impressions. A quick scroll lists peppermint oil as one of the ingredients. The shampoo does lather a bit and the conditioner is on the thinner side in comparison to other conditioners I have tried. One significant thing I noticed post-washing is the absence of dry scalp. My hair also felt lighter and softer and the frizz was slightly tamer. I wish I can evaluate this on the merits of hair regrowth to solidify its claim but like I said, I don’t have thinning hair (knock on wood). We’ll cross the bridge when we get there.

I reviewed this yesterday, and I was so impressed. My hair looks better at the root, I think all the clarifying has helped out!
Sounds like a great duo. The minty-ness is very appealing!
The sound of peppermint oil in shampoo sounds so refreshing!!
I wonder if this would be good for my bf! Sounds like he needs something like this!
My sister tried Keranique for thinning hair but it didn't help her with that problem. She didn't dislike the products but she was disappointed that the claims weren't met.
This sounds amazing! My hair has been dramatic since after pregnancy.
I seen this line and had wondered how it would work for me. I don't have good luck with hair shampoos or products that help with thinning hair but had wondered about these. Because my hair is so curly – often times it makes my hair feel dry. I'm gonna check these out though – it sounds like I may like it.
This sounds great. I've been using Lush Roots that sounds similar to the shampoo, but doesn't shampoo (it's just a treatment) I'd rather do both at once. I might just need to try this/these.
I'm not sure how I'd like minty on my scalp but I like that it helps with dryness.
Never heard of this brand before! Looks great if you have thinner hair.
Hmmm…my hair is thin and I color it so I think I could greatly benefit from this. Plus a minty tingle sounds quite nice!
I love minty shampoos!
This is very refreshing. I have more to say in my own upcoming review. 😉
I adore minty hair stuff! Feels good in the warmer months!
I was hoping when I saw "scalp stimulating" that it was good for thinning hair! I'll have to check it out!
