If you’re into nutraceutical supplements, you may have heard of Neocell. The company is known for its bevy of body and joint health, skincare and haircare products anchored on collagen. Just so we are on the same page, collagen plays an integral role in strengthening and rebuilding muscle mass and connective tissue. In skincare, collagen is key to maintaing skin strength and elasticity and depletion of such leads to wrinkles. I have tried a couple of their products in the past, both of which yielded positive experience so I gladly took another opportunity to try the skincare line, this time in topical presentations.
If you can get past its medicated scent, Neocell Collagen Moisturizing Treatment Masque ($16.95, 28 g) claims to hydrate skin, something my aging skin yearns. While I like that it made my face smoother after 15 minutes of me-time, a.k.a masking, I do find the fragrance quite strong to my liking.
Water, aloe barbadensis leaf juice, glyceryl polymethacrylate, propylene glycol, phospholipids, soluble collagen, horsetail (equisetum hiemale) extract, ascorbyl methylsilanol pectinate, lemon bioflavonoids, sodium carbomer, butylene glycol, sodium acrylate/acrylonitrogens copolymer, phenoxyethanol, caprylyl glycol, ethylhexylglycerin, hexylene glycol, lavender (lavandula angustifolia) extract, lavender (lavandula angustifolia) oil, disodium EDTA, carmine.
Vitamin C in skincare is a must-have for me because of its noticeable brightening effect on my skin. Neocell Collagen Radiance Serum combines Vitamins C and E to enhance skin’s firmness and elasticity. As mentioned in my previous skincare post, I love to layer Vitamin C and retinol for tauter and more supple skin, it’s a routine I can vouch for in terms of visible results. This serum is surprisingly affordable at $20 so if you’re a skincare budgenista, you may want to check it out.
Water, phospholipids, tocopheryl acetate (vitamin E), ascorbyl palmitate, soluble collagen, acrylamide/sodium acryloyldimethyltaurate copolymer, isohexadecane, polysorbate 80, butylene glycol, xanthan gum, tyrosine, proline, cysteine, zinc chloride, ethylhexylgylcerin, phenoxyethanol, potassium sorbate, disodium EDTA.
Neocell Refreshing Herbal Mist is your on-the-go-purse-friendly mist. It’s tiny ($9.95, 30ml) by all means but overall it’s a nice mid-day skin booster, I just wish there’s a bigger bottle so I can easily refill when I’m down to the last spritz.
Water, aloe barbadensis leaf juice, soluble collagen, rosemary (rosmarinus officinalis) extract, rosemary (rosmarinus officinalis) oil, polysorbate 20, horse chestnut (aesculus hippocastanum) seed extract, retinyl palmitate (vitamin A), tocopherol (vitamin E), inositol, calcium pantothenate, linoleic acid, biotin, calendula (calendula officinalis) flower extract, chamomile (anthemis nobilis) flower extract, linden (tilia cordata) extract, cornflower (centaurea cyanus) flower extract, matricaria (chamomilla recutita) flower extract, hypericum (hypericum perforatum) extract, butylene glycol, PEG-35 castor oil, phenoxyethanol, ethylhexylglycerin, sodium benzoate.

I've never thought about toting around a mist in my purse but I can't tell you how many times, especially in the winter, I've felt like I needed to use one while I'm out!
All three of these products sound great, but that Refreshing Herbal Mist sounds like something that I would use all of the time!
I love the idea of a portable mist. We all do a great job of taking care of our skin at home, but outside environments can really take a toll. Thanks for sharing!
