Viseart Shimmer Eyeshadow Palette Bridal Satin, review, swatch

Earlier I reviewed Viseart Matte Eyeshadow palette, clearly one of my recent go-to when I’m feeling neutral and matte-savvy. Today let’s focus on another Viseart beauty, the Shimmer Eyeshadow Bridal Satin palette ($80, 24g/ 0.84 oz, Sephora) which features 12 shimmery, mostly cool-toned shades, ranging from nudes to blues to purples or simply, a smorgasbord of awesomeness for the makeup junkie!

From neutral to dramatic looks, there’s great potential with Bridal Satin. While all the eyeshadows are indeed shimmery, I am impressed with the lack of fallout, superb blendability, soft creamy texture and overall commendable pigmentation. Wear time is also notable, 8-10 hours with negligible fading when applied over eye primer. As with other Viseart products, this palette is frill-free, no mirror or disposable applicator which from a practical standpoint, isn’t really that necessary.

For my eye makeup below, I used peach, purple, and mahogany for lid, brown on crease, light blue and mahogany smudged on lower lash line. I finished with a coat of mascara, subtle flick and black eyeliner on waterline.
