Viseart Shimmer Eyeshadow Palette Bridal Satin (Review, Swatch, Photos)

Earlier I reviewed Viseart Matte Eyeshadow palette, clearly one of my recent go-to when I’m feeling neutral and matte-savvy. Today let’s focus on another Viseart beauty, the Shimmer Eyeshadow Bridal Satin palette ($80, 24g/ 0.84 oz, Sephora) which features 12 shimmery, mostly cool-toned shades, ranging from nudes to blues to purples or simply, a smorgasbord of awesomeness for the makeup junkie!

From neutral to dramatic looks, there’s great potential with Bridal Satin. While all the eyeshadows are indeed shimmery, I am impressed with the lack of fallout, superb blendability, soft creamy texture and overall commendable pigmentation. Wear time is also notable, 8-10 hours with negligible fading when applied over eye primer. As with other Viseart products, this palette is frill-free, no mirror or disposable applicator which from a practical standpoint, isn’t really that necessary.

For my eye makeup below, I used peach, purple, and mahogany for lid, brown on crease, light blue and mahogany smudged on lower lash line. I finished with a coat of mascara, subtle flick and black eyeliner on waterline.

Viseart is my favorite brand and so glad you LOVE it 🙂

    • September 24, 2015 / 7:08 am

I loved the neutral you suggested so I didn't mind adding this 🙂

The shades look fantastic! Gotta wait for a F&F sale and buy!

I have been wondering what this palette was like in real life so I'm glad you took one for the team. I have two Viseart, one is discontinued and the other is Paris Nude. The quality is superb.

Paris Nude is always OOS, I should snag that too 🙂

  7. September 23, 2015 / 7:24 pm

Very nice! I looked at some Viseart stuff at the Makeup Show but didn't buy. I should have!

  8. September 23, 2015 / 7:50 pm

Wow, THIS is gorgeous! I am a big fan of shimmery shadows. Glad to know there is minimal fallout!

  9. September 23, 2015 / 10:07 pm

I loooove this look on you! Stunning! I'm so glad you reviewed this palette because I'd like to get a second Viseart palette to keep the Neutral Mattes company. Not sure if I'll go with this one or with the Paris. Bridal Satin has a few shades that look similar to the Neutral Mattes, but then they're satin and not matte. At any rate, it's a beautiful palette!

Thanks much. Did you see the new matte and editorial palettes they recently released? I want to get both although the editorial will probably end up the underused because the colors aren't really for everyday wear

I think I own this palette but have yet to touch it (#beautybloggerproblems). Love your swatches!

  11. September 24, 2015 / 2:28 am

Love the mix of colors and the look you did!

  12. September 24, 2015 / 5:19 am

I don't own anything from this brand but this palette has my attention. It's gorgeous! I'm a huge fan of purple and I love the look you put together. So pretty!

    • September 24, 2015 / 7:11 am

Thanks Natalie. Wait for Sephora's F&F sale so you can snag it. I'm eyeing the recently launched darker mattes, can't wait to get it using discount code

Those shadows are so smooth and luminous. Lovely eye look they produced.

  14. September 24, 2015 / 2:03 pm

That purple!!!!! Oh it's so gorgeous. Like I need another palette in my life, haha!

  15. September 24, 2015 / 6:10 pm

I don't often use the light shades like the baby blue but man, the right side of the palette is gorgeous and has shades I know I'll love. Man, I hope that I can pick some of these up during the Sephora F&F sale.

So gorgeous! I love the look you created.
