Oh my, another month finished in a flash, not that I’m complaining though! In fact, October excites me for three valid reasons (1) It’s our anniversary month (2) The Walking Dead resumes in two weeks (3) Halloween y’all! So while I am deciding what character I will be on the 31st, why don’t we revisit my empties for September, kinda like one last hurrah before they get tossed for good…
Several months ago, I had the privilege to try Paula’s Choice Resist skincare line (review here). With a plethora of products I get to try month after month, it’s quite a feat to have consumed one or two at the very least. Paula’s Choice Resist Weightless Advanced Repairing Toner ($23, 118ml/ 4 fl.oz) is one of my favorite toners because it’s gentle, fragrance-free and refines pores albeit tentatively. It also helps keep oil at bay especially last summer, what with heatwave and all. Another go-to in the realm of sun protection is Paula’s Choice Youth Extending Daily Mattifying Fluid SPF 50 ($32, 60ml/ 2 fl. oz). I like the fact that it’s multi-tasking: a lightweight moisturizer, primer and sunscreen in one tube. I have used it many times during the summer because of its high SPF component. Intrigued to try these awesome products? Enjoy 20% off + Free shipping when you use promo code PRIMPFALL20 (shout out to Pretty In My Pocket for this collaboration). Have you downloaded PRIMP free app yet? you should because aside from receiving instant beauty news and access to product reviews from fellow beauty lovers, there are perks and discounts you can redeem at your fingertip.
I have also reviewed Schwarzkopf Essence Ultime Diamond Color & Radiance shampoo and conditioner months ago and while I’m not a great fan of the strong fragrance, this combo did make my hair soft and quite manageable. As to be expected, I have also finished another tub of The Body Shop body scrub. It’s getting repetitive already but it’s the truth, I really love TBS scrubs!
Going on third tube already, you bet I adore Guerlain Terracota Joli Teint foundation! I wear this whenever I want to look a bit tan under the guise of “faux summer bronze”. It dries semi-matte with commendable wear time (8-9 hours give or take), and that’s without primer and/or setting powder!
