For someone who owns makeups more than a normal humanoid, it can get overwhelming as to which palette, foundation or lipstick I should wear at any given day. It’s like choosing what outfit to don in a closet-full of rarely-worn and new clothes. Deliberately insane. But waste not want not so I challenged myself from hereon to revisit my stash. This week, I decided to rock Smoky Emerald; very-Fall(ish) which I have said time and again happens to be my favorite season!

I whipped out three dearly beloved eye makeups patiently waiting for their beauty junkie mama. I started by layering Tom Ford Limited Edition Color For Eyes (Spring 2015), a beautiful mud-khaki creamy eye shadow. With flat shadow brush, I carefully applied and blended metallic gunmetal (Tom Ford Titanium Smoke) on my lids. For crease, I applied Damage (emerald green) and then on lower lash line, I smudged Madness (bright metallic blue), both shades from Urban Decay Vice 2.

Wait, I’m not done with smudging yet because after I lined my waterline with Kat Von D Eyegasm (iridescent mint green), I re-smudged Madness and brought Eyegasm down to create an interesting holo-ish blue green effect on lower lash line. Sounds complicated but it really isn’t.

I settled for demure cat eyes using Kat Von D Tattoo Liner (Trooper) then coated my upper and lower lashes with Clinique Chubby Lash (Black Honey). For the rest of my makeup, I kept it low-key with By Terry Cellularose Moisturizing CC Cream, Charlotte Tilbury Killer Cheekbones, and Gucci Lip Audacious Spring Rose.
