I’m not committing to anything yet but I plan to introduce dramatic (but still wearable) makeup every week or so. Makeup is art so whatever rocks our boat, enjoy and have fun. Taupey-gray and green, totally unpredictable in my day-to-day makeup choice. Here’s the breakdown of products used for this FOTD:
Summertime calls for lightweight coverage such as By Terry Cellularose Moisturizing CC Cream (reviewed here). For dark circles, I still turn to NARS Creamy Concealer. For a little bit of sunshiny-warmth, I applied Hourglass Ambient Bronzer Radiant Light Bronze on the side of my face and forehead. Colorful eyes call for nude lips or let’s just say that’s the way I like it so I used NARS Velvet Matte Lip Crayon Sex Machine.
Taupe makes a great eyebrow definer, it’s less harsh-looking in my opinion so I found new use for Burberry Taupe Brown, yay! Finally, let’s go to the whole essence of this post, le eyes!
I used Diorshow Fusion Mono Eyeshadow Hypnotique on lids and just past the crease. It’s a stunning holographic taupe/gray/plum cream eyeshadow. For crease and brow arch and inner eye corner, I used the shades from Chantecaille Glacier Eye Shade Trio (limited edition spring 2015). For graphic cat eye, I used Mary Kay Jet Black Gel Eyeliner. Curious with that pop of green on lower lash line? it’s Inglot 384, a very pretty matte apple green.
