Double the goodness and ultimately my favorite purchase from the not-so-recent Nordstrom anniversary sale, oh yeah I’m talking about Arcona Triad Toner Pads Duo which I snagged for only $48 (retail value $70)!

arcona triad toner pads review, gentle toner, toner for combination and acne skin

But besides the amazing deal (still available at Nordstrom website), I am beyond  pleased with this toner because it is one of the gentlest I have tried in recent years. Just look at the short list of ingredients:

Agua (Distilled Water), Hamamelis Virginiana (Witch Hazel) Extract, Rice Milk, Sodium Lactate, Vaccinium Macrocarpon (Cranberry) Fruit Extract, Camellia Sinensis (White Tea) Extract, Vitis Vinifera (Grape) Seed Extract, D-alpha-tocopherol (Vitamin E), Citric Acid, Benzyl Alcohol, Essential Oils.

While some of you may refute the idea of toner in a jar with pre-soaked pads (45 pads per jar), I actually like the concept out of sheer convenience. The pads are thinner and richly soaked with each use. I find that one pad is enough to cover my face and neck, a ritual I so enjoy after washing my face. It is also moisturizing, another unique aspect of this toner. Scent is relative but I find the cranberry quite on the powdery side. With that said, it’s strong but not enough to induce headache, thank goodness!

Bottom line, it’s worth repurchasing!

have you tried this brand?

I haven't tried this, but I am also about the convenience. I actually prefer spray toners that I don't even need a cotton pad for, though I suspect it doesn't help as much with makeup residue removal. They are good for helping with the absorption of serums, though.

I like the idea of toner in the pad form. It think it would be easier to deal with and prevent me from spilling product.

I used to use Glycolic and Retinol pads and I loved them because they are so simple to use. These from Arcona sound great and gentle

Pre-soaked toner! Now, I could get on board with that!! The one I use currently is a spray, and I feel like it must evaporate before it even gets to my face.

Thanks for reminding me about Arcona! I used to adore their cranberry toner (I think it was called?) back in the day, and bought it by buckets 🙂 Looks like I need to check them out again.
