Living in Hawaii, I consider cropped denims or cutoffs my wardrobe staples. Dressed up with wedges or down with slippahs (flip-flops), donned sexy with cold-shoulder top or sporty with racerback tank, we can all agree that they scream versatility without compromising style.
The secret to strutting cutoffs starts with jealous-smooth legs. Hair-free, well-exfoliated, bronzed, tanned, and hydrated, whatever rocks your boat, now’s the time to unravel summer legs!
Enter my favorite coffee-laced body scrub, Jealous! I reviewed it in detail here. A new variant was recently added, Cocoa + Almond which is made from unbrewed robusta coffee grounds, cold pressed 100% almond oil, macadamia nut oil, cocoa powder, raw brown sugar, sea salt, Vitamins A, E, D and minerals. Expect your bathroom to smell like Starbucks, so if you’re a coffee fanatic like me, then this a treat to your olfactory. I like the grittiness without the overkill, plus my skin feels soft after rinsing. Since it comes in an envelope-type packet, you do need to recycle (or buy) a jar for storage.
So here’s my typical routine: (1) rub coffee scrub on damp skin, working on sections, starting from the legs, working my way up to arms, torso, neck, back (2) bathe and rinse (3) moisturize (4) for extra glow and/or color, I apply bronze shimmer and/or faux tanner.
My personal style is laid-back so I recreated the outfit I wore the other day for your reference.
