So what is it exactly? foundation, bronzer, mist? A limited edition in time for summer, I was more than intrigued to get my hands on Givenchy Brume Bonne Mine. I am a bronzer gal year round so adding it to my ever expanding arsenal won’t hurt.
Housed in an aerosol spray, this product is the latest addition to Givenchy Croisiere line. It’s currently a limited edition but I am finger-crossing that it becomes permanent. But what is it again zilla? Alright let me break it down for you. If you are fair-skinned, slightly misting this on your face will give you that proverbial summer glow. If you have medium skin tone like moi, it can pass for tinted or light foundation. If you are tanning, it will compliment your faux tan depending on the intensity of coverage. Here’s how to use it as a foundation.
1. Apply sunscreen/moisturizer/serum as per usual.
2. Shake the bottle.
3. Close eyes and spray from about 6-8 inches away.
4. Blend and buff with foundation brush.
It dries to a velvety finish without the need for setting powder (personal preference). Wear time is about seven hours with slight dewiness peeking on the fifth hour. I am in love with its lightweight formula and how it compliments my skin tone, hence my wish for it to become permanent. I am surprised that it has the ability to even out my dull complexion. Simply put, it’s a great summer must-have if you’re coveting natural glow and skin enhancement.
Here’s Givenchy Brume Bonne Mine in all its glory. I purposely omitted blush and bronzer because I love it on its own.
