When these Tom Ford lipsticks were restocked at Neiman Marcus last month, I know I have to have ’em, much to my pucker’s delight! As a matte lover, First Time (pink-peach) needs to be in my collection. As a berry hoarder, Moroccan Rouge (plum) needs to be in my collection. Okay that’s redundant. Lipstick junkie like moi? then you know prologue isn’t necessary to establish a story, haha!
So straight to ‘biz we are. When it comes to high-end designer brand lippies, hands down Tom Ford is my #1 pick; from the elegant packaging to luxurious finish, there is an inexplicable dopey-feel every time I swipe these beautiful bullets. Mind is playin’, that’s the power of marketing for you.
But seriously, Tom Ford Lip Color Matte has one of the best formula I have tried (I have reviewed Black Dahlia, Velvet Cherry, Pussycat and Ruby Rush). If you don’t own one yet, I will enable you without remorse! These lipsticks are unequivocally opaque, superbly pigmented, wear long, and most important of all, they don’t dry out lips. Tom Ford Lip Color, on the other hand, is very moisturizing with luminous finish that packs just as beautiful (I have reviewed Casablanca, Negligee, Twist of Fate).
How do these new acquisitions compare to their predecessors? Here’s a side by side comparison so you can appreciate the finish and pigmentation more. Because photos speak better than babble #factoflife
When I’m feeling neutral….
…. but really, berry is my uber jam.
