Brewing coffee from the bathroom. I kid you not. As a coffee lover, I am excited to have discovered Canadian brand Jealous Body Scrub which is made from unbrewed ground coffee, cold pressed coconut oil, sea salt, raw brown sugar, vitamin E and minerals. Intrigued? scroll down for some coffee-licious madness!

Sealed in a brown packet, you do need a container if you store your body scrub near the tub or shower. I recycled an old jar as you can see from the photo…

Coffee in skincare is not new. For years, companies use caffeine to relieve inflammation, treat dark under eyes, reduce cellulites, rejuvenates skin, among others. Coffee grounds are great exfoliant because they are rough enough to slough off dead skin cells and Jealous Body Scrub is exactly what I want: it is gritty but not abrasive, my skin feels soft because of coconut oil, and let’s be honest, just say coffee and I’d squee!

I have also used this as a facial mask; wet face, scoop scrub, rub in circular motions, leave it on for ten minutes, rinse. Yes, all that jazz while sipping coffee and writing a blog post on the side. Sure you can dupe-DIY this but for $17.95 + free shipping to USA and Canada, it’s really worth checking out.

Have you tried coffee scrub?
