I’m a bronzer gal more than blush. I love it not for contouring but for the warmth it renders my face. A Summer 2015 release from Guerlain, Terracota Joli Teint Powder Duo is sold in 4 shades; I have 02 Natural Blondes, my ultra-favorite purchase this month!

This compact bronzer features two complimentary shades (terracottta + pink) which impart subtle sun kissed radiance. 02 Natural Blondes is mostly matte with a little bit of sheen to it. The pigmentation is more understated than the original Guerlain terracota and while you can use the shades individually, the concept behind is to mix the two shades together in a circular motion and then sweep from the forehead to cheekbone, then jawline for that ethereal warmth.

I’m not a fan of the shiny plastic packaging, quite un-Guerlain so to speak. Consistent with the brand’s face products, this powder duo is laced with fragrance which may or may not appeal to your olfactory sense. Click open the compact, you’ll be greeted with candied orange and whiff of vanilla. Intoxicatingly sweet but it does subside so no worries to this zilla!

I am definitely in love with the formula, I am thinking of purchasing 03 Natural Brunettes (terracotta + apricot) for deeper warmth come summertime!

It looks so naturally pretty. Bummer about the packaging, though. That's part of the allure of high-end products.

I've been thinking about grabbing one of these bronzers when I first saw the PR release, but I would have been disappointed in plastic packaging. I would have expected these to come in pretty metal cases at least 🙁 Still, the color is beautiful, just what I'd expect from the brand known for their bronzers.
