TGIF beauties! It has been a hectic week for me work-wise so I’m beyond happy that weekend is finally here. If you’re new to TheFabZilla, #FaceFriday is just a fancy-schmancy name for Face of the Day where I use/wear all the products I have reviewed in the past. Hence, this is the exact face you will see should you bump into me at work.

I never thought it will happen but it’s true. When you reach the age of maturity, ahem 40 years old, you’ll prefer less and light coverage. Such is the case for moi and it’s not even about this sickening humid weather!

My current-go to is Guerlain Super Aqua Serum BB Hydra+ in Moyen/Medium (review with before/after photos here).

I lightly brushed Hourglass Lighting Powder in Diffused Light over my face to set the BB cream. (reviewed in detail here)

To give me that bronzed, luminous and youthful aura, I used Charlotte Tilbury Filmstar Bronze and Glow (rave review here).

For my eye makeup, I kept it very subtle with NARS Dual Intensity Eyeshadow in Himalia (it’s a must-have based from my review here).

For my lower lash line, I smudged dark brown eyeshadow from Givenchy Palette Extravagancia (recently reviewed here).

Quick tip to fake age: fuller brows baby! I used Anastasia Dipbrow Pomade in Dark Brown (I shared my updated brow routine here).

I tightlined my upper lash line using Marc Jacobs Highlander Gel Crayon in Blacquer (another must-have, read my adoration here).

Finally, to add color to a rather neutral look, I wore Dolce and Gabbana Lipstick Shine in Violet (swatch here).

Bronze’d and Purple’d. Give age a new name, why not peanut, haha.

Have a fabulous weekend!
