Reviva Labs Stem Cell Booster Serum Review, swiss apples benefit on skin, what are swiss applies, what is stem cell

Not your ordinary red apples from Safeway. If you’re a skincare enthusiast, you’re probably aware of the skincare benefits of Swiss apples. Touted as super apples because they don’t shrivel for months after they are harvested, Swiss scientists discovered that stem cells are responsible for their impressive longevity.

Stem cells and aging. Human stem cells have the unique ability to repair damaged cells but as we age, like all other things, they deteriorate. Think wrinkles, sagging skin, among others. Youth where art thou?!

An apple a day keeps wrinkles away? Reviva Labs Stem Cell Booster Serum ($30, 1 fl oz) uses Uttwiler Spatlauber (special Swiss apple) and Malus Domestica (stem cell extract). The rest of the ingredients are listed below:

Purified Water, Glycerin, Organic Aloe Leaf Juice, Emulsifying Wax NF, Malus Domestica Apple Stem Cell Culture Extract, Xanthan Gum, Lecithin (Soy), Organic Flax Seed Oil, Organic Borage Oil, Organic Green Apple Extract, Cyclopentasiloxane, Dimethiconol, Carbomer 940, Phenoxyethanol, Ethyl Hexyl Glycerin.

Compared to other serums I’ve tried in the past, this one has a thicker consistency that’s why I prefer to use it alone (under makeup). Per website instruction, it’s best to layer this serum with a moisturizer, preferably Reviva Labs’ Alpha Lipoic Acid Antioxidant Cream, Hyaluronic Acid Cream or DMAE Firming Fluid for better results. I have reviewed a wealth of moisturizers; if you have oily skin, you may benefit from Reviva Labs Glycolic Acid Daytime Moisturizer. I like that this serum is fragrance-free and comes in a pump dispenser. Despite the thickness, it still feels light on the skin. I can’t vouch for the anti-wrinkling effect because at late 39 (turning 40 in a matter of days), granny skin hasn’t settled yet. Imma vampire, haha! But seriously, delayed onset of wrinkles is the only thing I love with having oily skin. Overall, if you are curious about Swiss apples and stem cells but can’t afford the $300-tag Michelle Obama is using, this serum may be the product you are looking for.

Skincare, water, exercise, healthy lifestyle. While our skincare needs are different, it’s no secret that drinking water, exercising and eating healthy foods all contribute to preservation of youth. Aging is inevitable, it’s only a matter of time. Wrinkles will come and sagging skin will find its way. But at the end of the day, age is just a number. Look young, feel young.
