jennifer lopez makeup american idol, drugstore makeup brands, elf cosmetics, maybelline, sonia kashuk, cover girl

Happy Aloha Friday, beauties! It’s time for another #FaceFriday feature. This week, it’s all about drugstore brands. Whether you’re a makeup noob, pro MUA, brand snob, there is that drugstore brand you are curious to try or swear by. So without further adieu, here are the products I used for today’s #fotd (some reviews are linked)

best drugstore makeup, spring 2014 makeup, budget-friendly makeup

Face:

Elf Mineral Infused Face Primer : nice quality for dirt-cheap price

Elf Flawless Finish Foundation: not a favorite because it does oxidize fast

Maybelline Instant Age Rewind Concealer: great for dark under eyes

Elf Transluscent Mattifying Powder: a tad chalky but good enough to set foundation

Eyes:

Elf Mineral Eyeshadow Primer : performs just as good as Urban Decay primer potion

Sonia Kashuk Moroccan Dunes Eyeshadow (limited edition)

Elf Cream Eyeliner Teal Tease (lower lash line): made my left eye teary-eyed

Loreal Silkissime Eyeliner Highlighter (water line): contact lens wearer beware: this transfers to contacts making your vision cloudy. I had to take off my lenses at work, shoot!

Covergirl Bombshell Volume Mascara

Blush:

Eddie Funkhouser Ultra Intensity Cheek Color (A Little Toasted)

Lips:

NYX Matte Lipstick Strawberry Daiquiri

Have you tried any of these products?

Kathryne
