I won’t deny that this whole blogging thingimajig expanded my beauty arsenal like I’m running a hole in the wall store. Our bathroom alone has all sorts of skincare and bath products that will probably last me over a year, #noshame
This leads me to my next point; the way I wash my face varies from time to time depending on the product(s) I try. Cleansing brush, cream facial wash, clear facial wash, face foam, konjac sponge, exfoliant, the list goes on #fact
For today’s post, let me introduce you to Beautisol Exscrub Me? Citrus Face Exfoliant ($17, 2 fl oz/ 60ml).

In a nutshell, Exscrub Me? is an exfoliant with micro-beads that help slough off dead skin cells. Just so you know, I exfoliate only twice a week because doing it excessively does more damage to our skin, i.e redness, irritation, dryness.
Unlike other exfoliants I have tried, Exscrub Me?’s beads are dense and quite abrasive so if you have sensitive skin, you have to be very careful scrubbing your face. A pea-size amount is good enough for my face. I usually pay attention around my nose where I have whiteheads the most. I like the citrusy scent and the overall feel of my face after rinsing: taut, smooth and refreshingly clean!
If you’re into #faceexfoliant , Beautisol is running a Buy One, Get One with coupon code BOGO2014 (valid until June 31, 2014).
What’s your favorite exfoliant?

Anything Citrus catches my attention!!!
ditto
I have super duper sensitive skin and I have this product but haven't tried it yet because when I tested on my hand… it did feel a little more abrasive than I would have liked. I will have to take it in stride. I love the scent of it though and am gonna try in little areas of my face š
yeah, try it first because the beads are on the rougher side
Sounds like something for me š
great to know
This is the cutest scrub I have ever seen Kath! Such cute pink scrubs!
cute and citrusy
This peaked my interested until I saw the very obvious microbeads. I refuse to purchase products with poly-beads anymore.
hopefully this line will reformulate
This makes a great manicure scrub too! š
great idea!
I love love this scrub!!!
awesome!
This sounds lovely, and the scent too! I may have to pass because of my super sensitive skin. My rosacea and eczema are in a good place I don't want to rock the boat!
yep, don't fix if ain't broke
I love the name of this!!! Can't wait to try!
clever name, excuse me? lol
Ooohhh this sounds amazing. I am with you on the exfoliating 2 times a week, I used to do more and irritated my skin. š This product sounds great and I can totally see it being a great addition with a konjac sponge for sure!!! Great post!
You're into skincare so I'm happy to know you use konjac sponge too š
I got this scrub as well, and while I enjoy the microdermabrasion-like effect, I wonder if it will need to be reformulated due to the recent bans on plastic microbeads.
I agree. Hopefully it does reformulate
I can't use anything with microbeads in them, and now that they are starting to get banned in places I don't see myself trying them.
yep, hopefully this line will reformulate soon
I've been using this and I agree, might be a little much for sensitive skin. I have really been liking it.
It's definitely a strong exfoliant!
Oooh I love a good exfoliant! I think having an excess of products to use/test is one of the perks of the trade.. =)
I use the St. Ives Apricot scrub. It gets down and gets scrub-a-licious with my skin and the exfoliant is natural rather than plastic beads. š
This sounds really nice. I don't exfoliate as much I should but this is reminding me to do it!
I use Ahava and Kate Sommerville, strong exfoliants sometimes leave my skin very dried up š
I use Ahava and Kate Sommerville and am very happy with it, strong exfoliants dry me up too much š
I'm all about scrubs!!! I am wary of the strong exfoliant. I've never used anything abrasive on my skin, so I wonder if this would be good.
I love anything citrus, and exfoliators, too. Those beads look huge! I wonder if they are the kind that are slowly being eliminated with the whole micro-plastics ban.
I love a good citrus-scented scrub!
I love citrus scents. I am not sure about the abrasiveness of the formula though.
Bummer about the polyethylene… looks like they're gonna have to switch it up if the MBFWA passes!
I love Murad AHA/BHA scrub–the beads are really small but it gets the job done gently.
That looks and probably smells adorable!
That is one great deal !
Excrub Me is the cutest name like ever.
My favorite exfoliator is Dermae's Microdermabrasion scrub!
