TGIF beauties! Last weekend, I dyed my hair dark plum. I grew tired of my golden brown highlights so to switch things up, I settled for a shade befitting for spring. Honestly, it’s quite a leap from my comfort zone. But with all the rave on radiant orchid this year, I am more than pleased! So what’s the mystery hair product I used for this demi-transformation? it’s Vidal Sassoon London Lilac ($8+, Walmart). Let’s see how long this color will last but ‘lil box says it’s eight weeks, fingers-crossed!
Now on to my makeup. Plum lips for spring? I say why not, it goes well with mah hair. So here’s the breakdown of all products I used (reviews are linked for your convenience).
After washing and toning my face, I applied my current go-to BB, Rodial BB Venom Skin Tint.
While I let the BB cream sink in, I groomed and shaped my eyebrows with Anastasia Dipbrow Pomade.
Then I went on to prime my eyelids with Nars smudge-proof eyeshadow base.
Not a great fan but I opted for Marc Jacobs Style Eye-Con The Tease palette. I used the lightest pink for my lids and light beige for my crease.
Not in picture but I lined my upper lash line with Kat Von D Tattoo Liner (Trooper).
For my upper and bottom lashes, I used Clinique Bottom Lash Mascara.
Eight minutes into makeup thingimajig, I set my foundy with Eddie Funkouser Micromineral Foundation Powder.
For pinched healthy cheeks, I used Rouge Bunny Rouge Original Skin Blush (Orpheline).
And finally for the cherry on top, it’s no other than Marc Jacobs Lust for Lacquer Lip Vinyl (Truth or Dare).
What are you changing for spring?
