No.1 Pet peeve: Browzilla. Meaning, totally neglected and shapeless eyebrows. I can understand some stray hairs here and there because who has the time to pluck every so often, I seriously don’t. Between coated lashes and groomed brows, you bet I can’t go out with my eyebrows grossly uneven and sparse like these *facepalm*

So I will pretend that you didn’t see me at all with undone brows. Can we try a quickie experiment this time? By simply fixing my eyebrows and keeping the rest unaltered, do you agree that brows really frame a woman’s face? It’s like getting an instant facelift.

Now that you’ve witnessed both storm and sunshine, you can’t blame me if sometimes I get fixated on Browzilla. As the saying goes, brows don’t need to be identical twins, but please treat them like your dear sisters!

So how do I groom my eyebrows then? Right now, I am obsessed with Anastasia Dip Brow Pomade in Dark Brown ($18, 4.0g/ 0.14 oz). Consistency-wise, it’s one of the best I have tried. It’s soft, easy to use, sweat-proof, and smudge-free. I don’t need to set it with powder, just line and I’m good to go! I also use it as eyeliner, how’s that for versatility?

So here’s my no-nonsense Quick Eyebrow How-To:

1. Prime eyelids, including eyebrows. This will prevent smudging.
2. With an angled brush, outline the top and bottom eyebrows, following the natural shape of your brows.
3. Fill in the direction of hair growth, then against it to cover sparse areas.

Happy Brows, Happy Life.
