It’s Lippy Monday Ladies! So here’s the continuation of my mini-collection from Canadian brand Cargo Cosmetics. As previously mentioned, I’m glad to see Cargo products all over Macy’s and Ulta again because this brand seriously deserves some hot luuuvin’.

Today let me show you Punta Cana (hot pink) and Kyoto (baby pink) from the Essential Lip Color line.

The reveal. If you have been following this blog for a while now, you know for a fact that I am fond of bright bold lipstick. Like red, I can’t get enough of pink. Who cares if this is my nth hot pink (easier to spell than fuchsia, haha!) or baby pink or light pink or pepto-bismol pink. If red makes me feel extra sexy, pink makes me feel young. Truth: you know you are lipstick-obsesssed if you begin to associate emotions with every shade.

If you adore pink just like me, then Punta Cana and Kyoto are right up your alley. Both have superb color payoff and wear time (six hours sans eating). Post-meal, it leaves a decent stain on the lips. Kyoto is indeed creamy but I find Punta Cana a tad drying so I recommend applying lip balm underneath. I didn’t notice any plump effect or maybe I wasn’t just paying attention. But see I’m not a great spokesperson when it comes to miraculous lip transformation because I don’t have thin lips, if that makes sense.

For your visual appreciation, here’s Punta Cana…

…. and Kyoto

Do you own any Cargo lippies?
