Face of the Day: Silver Lining

Every cloud has a silver lining. I’m not trying to be overly sentimental  but this quote reignites our faith amidst life’s tribulations. We all face difficulties at varying levels. I admit, I’m somewhat a perfectionist and I get disappointed when things don’t go my way. But I don’t let it consume me. Believe me, I try! With all the horrendous things happening around us, I have no reason to grumble about pettiness. Too blessed to feel stressed. Lucky I’m alive!

Honestly, I can’t think of a perfect title for today’s FOTD (Face of the Day). I just thought of doing cat-eyes but went on to to accentuate with Shellshock (metallic silver) from the Urban Decay Vice 2 palette. If there’s one thing I’ll do next time, that would be to line my upper lash line with a waterproof glitter liner first, then seal it with a silver eyeshadow. I didn’t like that my “silver lining” transferred to my crease after three hours, boo! But other than that, I think the result was kind of understated glam.
