While fall is all about dark plum colors, pretty nudes remain a classic. Such is the case with Givenchy Le Rouge Intense Color Sensuously Matte Lipstick 206 Rose D’ Exception ($36, 0.12 oz). This lipstick is a limited edition for Fall 2013, along with Rouge D’ Exception (brick red) which I have reviewed a month ago. 206 is best described as rosy nude, a versatile shade I can wear any day, any time, any season.

Encased in a leather tube, this beauty easily earned a majestic status in my growing stash of high-end lipsticks. Semi-matte, creamy, daytime-friendly, classy, I can go on and on and be echolalic. But let me convince you with two words: Holy Grail. In days I am not feeling le bright or dark lips, I reach out for it.
