While at Sephora the other week, I treated myself to a rather pricey blending brush. I mean at $30, this gotta do wonders, right?

So what does this 242 blender brush mean to us makeup enthusiasts?

According to Make Up For Ever, “this supple blending brush is a very popular tool among professional MUAs. It is good for blending and shading; can also be used for highlighting or clearing away fallouts; great for cream, loose and compact powders; made from synthetic fiber and beech wood”.

Sephora made it sound fancier. Read this: “After five years in development with makeup artists and fiber experts, MUFE aims to revolutionize brush craftmanship. The 100% fiber brushes are available in 76 handcrafted styles. Every brush has gone through 25 production stages by 30 craftsmen and has been checked for quality 50 times”

Woooow! Typical maketing for you guys.

Now let’s hear what this makeup passionista a.k.a Moi has to say. “242 brush is flared, rounded, with very soft bristles. It’s versatile because I can use it for my crease, lid, even brow arch. I can’t vouch for the superior quality claim yet because it’s relatively new but I promise to update this post whenever possible”.

Have you purchased anything from MUFE yet?
