Giveaway & Review: Age Beautifully with Doctor-Formulated Ageless Derma Stem Cell & Peptide Anti-Wrinkle Cream

// PR Sample //

This year marks my last year before the Big Four O. Truth be told, I cried when I turned 30, silly ha? Back then I was battling with insecurities, weight issues and skin woes included. But like I always say, with age comes experience; with experience comes wisdom. But today’s post is not about my melodramatic life then (let’s reserve that sometime in the future, oki?).

Nobody holds the fountain of youth. Not even Joan Rivers. But with a happy disposition and proper skincare, you and I can delay wrinkles.

You may or may not know that I have oily skin, open pores and occasional acne. But having an oil machinery of a face ain’t bad at all: wrinkles are a bit slow to develop compared to you dry-skinned ladies! However, aging exaggerates pores simply because the skin’s natural shedding process is slowing down. I speak from experience, sigh!

Enter Ageless Derma Stem Cell and Peptide Anti-Wrinkle Cream ($65). Developed by Dr. Mostamand (founder of Focus Medical Spa in Orange County, California), this product claims to protect and revitalize skin from the signs of aging. I was sent a full-size product to try and now I’m ready to share my thoughts with you.

Ingredients: Argireline, Matrixyl 3000, PhytocellTec Malus-Plant Stem Cell Domestica, Sodium Hyaluronate, Syn-Coll, Vialox Powder, Coenzymes Q10- Ubiquinone, Peptides, Retinol, Green Tea Extract.

I read your mind! They all sound highfalutin so here’s a quick breakdown of what they are all about:

Argireline is used in some anti-wrinkle products. It’s your botox without the needle. It works by relaxing facial skin by reducing the appearance of fine lines on the face and around the eyes.

Matrixyl 3000 is made up of amino and fatty acids that reduce sagging of facial skin and neck. This compound also helps in collagen production and in retaining skin’s moisture.

PhytocellTec is derived from the stem cells of a Swiss apple tree (yeah it has to be Swiss). These apples are said to have greater longevity with less wrinkling over time.

Sodium Hyaluronate plays a key role in maintaining the natural barrier of the skin. It’s what makes the skin supple.

Syn-Coll stimulates collagen synthesis and in addition  has skin firming and moisturizing properties.

Vialox is another compound that mimics Botox sans the injection. It helps decrease facial wrinkles and Crow’s feet.

Coenzyme Q10 is an antioxidant that fights skin’s harmful elements a.k.a free radicals. It helps the skin to retain moisture and elasticity.

Retinol is a common cosmetic ingredient. It counteracts wrinkles and improves UV- damaged skin.

Let’s get down to the real deets! As you can see from the photos, this product is packaged quite differently. It comes in a sturdy and classy 1.0 fl oz/ 30 ml bottle that is neither a jar or squeeze-type. You have to pump the cap to dispense the product, no-brainer eh? The scent is luxurious, it’s like being pampered in spa. The formula is part cream, part gel and is absorbed onto the skin fast.

I have been using this for a few weeks, twice a day (morning and evening) and the results are meritorious. It does leave my face hydrated sans the greasy feel. What is particularly noticeable is the suppleness and radiance of my skin few hours after application. And yes, my open pores were reduced albeit temporarily. But what really impressed me was how this product healed my red and dry outer eye corner (left side). I was starting to get concerned  about it but lo! this cream saved me a trip to a dermatologist. So in effect, this is a 2-in-1 product, if you were to base it from my experience. I had no skin irritation and I didn’t experience peeling given that retinol is one of the ingredients.

You can buy Ageless Derma from the company website, it’s free shipping on all domestic orders and as of this writing, it offers 20% off your purchase with code Ageless.

Are you ready to age beautifully? I am.
