You may or may not know that I am one of PRIMP (Pretty In My Pocket) Makeup Mavens. In a nutshell, PRIMP is a smart phone app made for the makeup passionista like you and moi. It’s free and it has tons of features that you will absolutely love. Ever heard or used your iPhone for bar code scanning? well, it has one and you can use it anywhere- from drugstore to high-end beauty stuff. As it pulls out product information, you get instant reviews from your favorite blogger or co-Primper. It’s like shopping with your BFF.  Okay virtual friend if you say so. Perks or discount coupons you said? oh they are all location-based and can be scanned from your phone at the cash register. Yep, it’s high-tech paperless, cool ha?

PRIMP has gotten more exciting with its recent collaboration with L’Oreal Paris. Come July 12, 2013 you lucky ladies in NYC will have the chance to experience the unveiling of these exclusive mobile perks   in select locations. I can’t give you the exact details yet but if you read between the lines *throws hints* L’Oreal is what brand? Your guess is as good as mine.  Stay tuned for a separate post!

Another feature I think you will like is ‘Get the Look’ that corresponds to the perks. I was sent some products and I will reveal that “look” on the launch date. Of course, you can recreate the look yourself in hundred and one ways possible- for less!

Okay so I’m in Hawaii, you’re in California, Sissy is in Idaho, Auntie is in Texas. What about us? Fret not ladies! PRIMP will roll out these perks to more cities and with more brands by Fall!

Ready to download PRIMP? here’s the link (no catch here don’t worry!). And while there, don’t forget to follow this woman who is honored to be one of the makeup mavens
