Second to hot pink, coral is a lovely color to rock for spring and summer. It’s fun, vibrant and warm. I own probably three coral lippies and they’re all matte so I’m on the hunt for a more office-friendly a.k.a conservative coral-ish shade (conservative?! does that even exist in my vocabulary?). Sheen, sheer, barely-there? Make up your mind woman!
Korres is one of my go-to brands for natural-looking makeups. It’s for the simple Jane who likes a sheer wash of color to brighten her au naturel fez. Yeah, believe me when I say that there are days I want to be plain. And simple. Period.
Korres mango butter lipstick in coral ($18, Sephora) is described as sheer with high-shine finish. With “butter” in the ingredients, it’s hydrating like your trusted lip balm. I see mango oil, now that explains the product name.

Color-wise, this particular shade is coral-pink, not vibrant coral as described in Sephora website. Needless to say, it’s not marketed as long-wearing so reapplication is required, pro re nata.
