ENLIGHTEN Eye Brightening Shadow Palette, $13.99 |
So this is the continuation of my Pacifica tiny haul from Target. Yep, the once-Sephora staple is now sold at Target, how awesome is that?! Of course, I had to try this eye shadow palette. C’mon, look at the dainty box and daytime-friendly shades!
If you support cruelty-free and/or 100% vegan products, you know that the choices are very limited in the drugstore or mass retail level. Thankfully, Pacifica had us in mind. The question is, will this palette earn a decent spot in my otherwise crowded beauty shelf? Find out.
What the label says “Rich, lasting, creaseless eye shadows infused with coconut water for a velvety, cream-like finish in four highly pigmented mineral satin and iridescent shades. Specially created to brighten the eyes”.
Ingredients:
Coconut water, phenoxyethanol, brown kelp extract, indian ginseng root extract. May contain silica, polymethylsilsesquioxane, calcium, sodium borosilicate, iron oxides CI 77491, CI 77492, CI 77499, titanium dioxide CI 77891, CI 77510, chromium oxide green CI 77288, ultramarines CI 77007, manganese violet CI 77742
The actual palette is packaged in a card board material with see-through plastic. It would’ve been nicer if a mirror was included eh?
Urchin is iridescent purple with gold tone
Golden is shimmery yellow gold
Coral Sand is is satin coral
Skinnydip is semi-matte nude
Nothing extra drool-worthy color-wise; they’re moderately pigmented and good enough for plain Jane. Meaning, it’s nice for daytime or neutral look. They’re quite creamy and easy to blend but I suggest using a damp brush to make the shades more vibrant. Worn with eye primer, they lasted throughout the day with very minimal fading. My favorite is sand coral and I wear it mostly on my cheeks (yes you read it right) for that coral-ish warm glow!
Do I like the palette? Yes but I wish there are more color or palette selections because moi no plain Jane.
Is this something you want to try too?

Sand Coral is actually pretty drool-worthy to me, well it would be moreso if it were more pigmented
yeah, plus I wish there were more palette choices….xo
These are such pretty shades! I'd wear them all on their own with a flick of eyeliner and then a combination for a night out look! Lovely!
