Are You Buying Khroma (Kardashian) Makeup?

Khroma, a new makeup line by the Kardashian sisters is set to launch this November, at least that’s what I know. But look, seems like the K’s konquered Ulta’s kosmetics aisle early! As of this writing, Khloe’s eyeshadow palette is sold out. Which leads me to my next question – Is it worth blowing my hard earned money for this gals who earn hundreds of thousands per endorsement? At 4 items, my cart is close to $60. Part of my being a makeup junkie says yes, all for the purpose of adventure and review. But a huge piece of my rational- self screams no way Jose!

Let’s admit it. Kardashians is our guilty pleasure. Why not, this family epitomizes wealth, beauty and power. I watched the infamous wedding of Kim, Kourtney’s birthing plan in a bath tub, and Khloe’s visit to her gynecologist. I have seen a few episodes of that sociopath Scott (Khloe’s word) and I wanted to cuddle Mason. Am I huge fan? hell no but I’m not gonna lie that their lifestyle is enviable.

Based from what I see in the website (boo, no Ulta in Hawaii), the palettes look like glorified NYX. The lip set is supposed to make your lips resemble Kim’s signature nude pout.

So will the makeup junkie in me prevail? Or should I save my $60 for a brand I have been wanting to try like T. Le Clerc or Becca.

What about you? Are you planning to buy Khroma?

I would wait to see swatches first, that is pricy! But that is me, I don't blog makeup, and I am so frugal when it comes to cosmetics besides my nail polish!

I own one Kardashi-nailpolish. Again, too expensive and those horrid bottles!
Thank you for posting this, it is interesting to see what is happening.

My family would think I'm stupid if they saw me watch the Kardashians, and personally I don't have the patience to watch their petty problems. I don't understand why my friends or other girls watch them

LOL. It's one of those shows like when there's nothing interesting to watch, might as well watch it :-)))

Pesonally i like them . I love their style and everything. People need to stop hating no one is perfect . They happen to be famous and have their life for everyone to see , if we were also then they would find stuff on all of us too.

Super agree on no-hate part. Who do you like the most among the siblings? I like Khloe's fierce attitude

I would totally try it! If you are a makeup junkie like me… I say buy a pair of lashes and one face palette. Go from there! They're lashes have my best interest. Afterall, Kim does make a good model for them. LoL

Please refrain from purchasing the "in the nude" lipset!! The smell of the lipgloss is horrible the packaging claims that it smells like honey but honestly it smells like a musky old perfume. The packaging isnt what i expected (not that its a big deal) but i did expect more from them. The products are afordable but for drugstore products there on the higher end. The eye shadow palletes looked nice but when i took a closer look its looked really chalky!! Keep your money….

Thanks Amarie for the heads up! I wonder if the girls were really involved from the concept to production stage….
