Revlon Just Bitten Kissable Balm Stain | Charm & Darling

In my prior review here, I mentioned how Revlon Just Bitten Kissable Balm Stain changed my perspective on lip stains. Proof that I am hooked is picking up two more shades. Hello impulse purchase!

I was pleased with the brighter versions of this lip stain so I wanted to try the opposite of the spectrum. Charm (035) is peachy neutral. It’s so pale that I hardly saw that trademark stain after several hours of wearing it. Impressed, I am not.

Darling (010) is soft purple pink when you first put it on but on the 4th hour, my lips were screaming hot pink.  Not that I detest it. It just clashed with my eye makeup. Bold eyes  and bright lips, not for my day job mama!

If you like the obvious stained effect, buy the brighter and darker versions. I’m not sold to nude stains, plain and simple.

As always, here’s moi for lip swatch reference.

It's weird but Honey turns almost red on me. I think my lips don't like these which is too bad. I'm surprised how dark Darling looks on you.

They remind me of mood lipstick now. Weird lip color change indeed

I think they look good on you! I haven't tried Revlon's lip stains yet. I have a couple of Cover Girl ones that are okay.

I'm curious whether your Revlon lip stains also change in color after quite some time. I was surprised with Darling turning into hot pink stain after several hours…
