Make Up For Ever Rouge Artist Intense 39 ($19, Sephora) is described as satin orange coral. Paraben-free, it is richly pigmented and has commendable staying power (about four hours but completely gone after a meal). The texture is quite matte and it has a tendency to settle in between lip lines. When using this lippy, I highly recommend to exfoliate your lips first and then moisturize with a lip balm. I’m not a fan of the scent, it’s too chemical according to my olfactory sense. It feels waxy upon application, thanks woe to the three wax ingredients (castor, candelilla, rice bran). While I like the shade (I’m a sucker for coral), I’m not head over heels with this lipstick. Nice try but I won’t be repurchasing. Skip.

Do you own this particular shade?
