What’s in it? Full size Lipsurgence lip luster (glisten), Full size Glowlight Amazonian clay luminizing wand (pink), Full size Smooth operator Amazonian clay finishing powder in bronze, Full size Amazonian clay eyeshadow quad, mini kabuki brush, Deluxe size Lights camera Lashes mascara (black), emphasEyes eye pencil (black), Purple woven clutch.

Photos, Swatches & Impressions

Full Size LipSurgence lip luster (Glisten) is a sheer peachy shade lip stain with a bit of shimmer. It has a pepperminty smell (and taste if you lick your lips). It glides easily and quite moisturizing. Though it didn’t work for me as a lip stain, I have been wearing this a lot lately to compliment my barely-there-slash-summer-glow vibe.

Full Size Amazonian Clay eye shadow is a quad neutral palette with superb color-pay off. All four have shimmery finish to them. These eyeshadows are buttery soft and blends easily. Used with an eye primer (tarte), they didn’t crease and smudge throughout the day.

Full Size Smooth Operator Amazonian Clay finishing powder is a finely milled powder and by far my most favorite item from this kit! It has a soft matte finish which can be used for conturing among fair-skinned bellas. With me, I  use it as a finishing powder for that lovely sun-smooched glow. Hello summer!

emphasEYES high definition eye pencil (black) is a smudge-proof eyeliner that stayed on without the need to seal- it -with -eyeshadow- kind -of -thing. It’s a twist-top and has a dry texture that requires lid-tugging which I hated. But after a few days of constant use, I found the formula to have warmed up. Miracle I don’t know.

Full size Glowlight Amazonian clay luminizing wand (pink) is a highlighter that can be used in a lot of ways. You need to click the bottom of the wand to dispense the product. It’s slightly creamy and imparts a glowing finish when applied over cheekbones, nose bridge or brow arch.

Other inclusions are deluxe -size Lights, camera lashes mascara which I have already reviewed here. It’s not the best mascara of its kind but good enough for everyday wear; A mini-kabuki brush that is ideal for travel and quick touch ups; a purple woven clutch that’s eye candy enough to tote when out and about.

Finally, here’s moi wearing everything from the kit….

That's a great kit for your coloring. I love tarte and wear it often though I think those colors are too dark for me personally.
