In love with naked, in awe with nude. Moi ain’t porn ‘zillahs! I’m talking about my uber favorite Urban Decay’s Naked Palette 1 and close- second theBalm’s Nude’tude.

Aside from red lipstick and mascara, I’d say neutral eyeshadows should be part of a woman’s beauty staples. Drum roll to Nude’tude dudes!

Feeling Nice version

The buzz. A palette of 12 neutral shades with satin-smooth finish. Available in two packaging designs but with the same eyeshadow colors ~~~> Feeling Naughty (featuring pinup girls; out of stock as of this writing) & Feeling Nice (bedroom/curtain design; as pictured in this post). I got the boring nice version. Each eyeshadow has 0.382 oz.

The bust. If you’re looking for good quality eyeshadows below the $50-mark, this is a smart choice. I must warn you though that you still get more bang for your buck with Naked Palette because it comes with a decent shader brush and primer plus a ‘lil bit more eyeshadow. The only major disappointment from this palette is the flimsy and cheapo eyeshadow brush ~> yep, straight to trash it is!

Sassy is frosted white. Stubborn is frosted peach-pink. Stand-offish is shimmer light bronze. Snobby is frosted golden-yellow. My favorite from this set is Stand-offish which I used as highlighter for my brow bone, tear duct and even cheekbones.

Selfish is shimmer taupe. Sophisticated is shimmer bronzy-brown. Sultry is matte medium brown. Schitzo is shimmer bronze brown. I like to use Sultry for my crease and the rest for my lids.

Sexy is matte maroon. Serious is matte black. Silly is brown with flecks of copper. Sleek is matte dark brown. My favorites from this set are Sleek which I often use to define my brows and Serious as eyeliner.

Over-all, the colors are accurate as they are from the pan. The darker matte shades are heavily pigmented so go easy with the application. These eyeshadows are soft and buttery, similar to Naked Palette’s quality. This palette has a big wide mirror which makes it very handy for travel or quickie touch-ups. Used with your trusted primer (Urban Decay/Kat Von D/bareMinerals for moi), these lasted for more than eight hours without creasing and smudging. Fabulous it is.

Rating: 4.5/5 Ditch the brush, relish the neutrals.

As in usual, here’s ‘mah ‘fez in Nude’tude…again in scrubs m/

Okay, I started with a suggestive intro so why don’t I end it the same?
