Yep! Orange is the color of 2012 according to The Pantone Color Institute; or to be more specific, Pantone 17-1463 a.k.a Tangerine Tango. From fashion to makeup, this hue flatters every skin tone there is. Amber Rose and Kourtney Kardashian are just some of the celebrities who rock orange lippies like a ray of sunshine.

So how do you wear orange then? For makeup, I’d say focus on the lips and keep the rest minimal and simple. Make sure to exfoliate and moisturize your lips before applying lipstick (chapped lips ain’t sexy momma!) For a bit of sophistication, do a cat-eye/wing as you please. Here are the products I used for today’s look:
Face: Too Faced Primed and Poreless Primer, Origins Youthopia SPF 15 (review here), Skinn Cosmetics Triple Cover Conceal Wheel (review here), Laura Mercier Invisible Loose Setting Powder
Eyes: Urban Decay Primer Potion, Maybelline Color Tattoo in Bold Gold as base (review here), Cargo eyeshadow in gold for lids, MAC Mineralize eyeshadow (Mix and Switch > bronze-taupe for crease; light beige as transition color from crease up to brow bone); MAC Fluidline Blacktrack for cat-eyes/wing; LORAC black eyeshadow to seal; Laura Mercier black mascara; Rimmel white kajal pencil for waterline
Cheeks: MAC Mineralize Blush in Warm Soul
Lips: NYX Lipliner Pencil in 824 Orange; MAC So Chaud Matte Lipstick
